Instant payments!

Wednesday, February 11th, 2009
Have you just missed out on some easy cash? Join our mailing list today and get paid to read updates like this one! We pay at least $0.01 for every new blog entry.

Firstly, a belated Happy New Year to all our members and advertisers. We’ve been very busy already this year, which is why we didn’t have time to send out a paid update last month. Paid updates will be less frequent and more structured from now on, with smaller snippets of news available elsewhere. More on that later.

New Login System. We’ve removed the cookie check as it was causing too many problems and support requests. We’ve also changed the addition question to a more commonly used captcha interface and there’s a new ‘Stay logged in all day’ function. Simply login and select the checkbox, then when you return to the site later click ‘Browse Ads’ in the top bar to carry on earning. Some of these features have been added to our sign-up page, which should make it much easier to refer new members.

Twitter. WordLinx now has its own Twitter page! We won’t update it every five minutes like some people, but it will be used for minor news like system status, cashouts, new store products, etc. This will hopefully make the system far more transparent and allow us to easily keep you up to date with all that’s happening.

You may also like to use it as a forum, by creating your own account and talking about WordLinx. The advantage of this over a regular forum is that Twitter already has millions of users who can search for ‘wordlinx’ and view your comments. Any information about good service, cashouts, etc. will help us to grow. More interest, means more advertisers, which means more paid adverts for you! Get tweeting!

Instant Payments. We hope to introduce instant payments to WordLinx next month (March 2009). We’re currently discussing this within our team as it will be the biggest update since we setup automatic visitor purchases. Two options will be available; Automatic and Manual Cashout. Each with different features and charges.

Automatic payments will be processed much like instant payments on other popular PTC sites. Simply type in your details and the amount, then confirm and you’ll be paid within minutes. There will be a small 5% charge per withdrawl to cover PayPal fees (which we must pay on your behalf), server load and feature introduction costs. This is still relatively low, as some sites charge up to $3.00 USD to withdraw.

Manual payments will be processed exactly as cashouts are handled now. However, to give us more time to run the site, manual cashouts will be paid within 30 days. In most cases this will be far quicker (72 hours) but it will give us more time to audit payments and focus on other things like support requests. You may still be charged by PayPal to receive your payment, so please check before selecting.

That’s it for now, thank you for reading. Don’t forget to check our Twitter page for more WordLinx news as and when it happens.

If you no longer wish to receive updates in your email like this one, please login and go to ‘My Account’ then ‘Update Profile’ and uncheck the ‘Receive email’ box.
